Ale Gicqueau

Ale is the founder of L'Executive Club, co-founder of InterFrench, and he is now leading the overall Interfrench organization in the US since his partner, Pierre-Jean Charra, left for France to create Interfrench in Europe.

He has held different positions in the software industry, working successively in software development, engineering management and business development roles. He is today a recognized evangelist in XML/RDB, and his efforts to develop an effective networking business platform for French-speaking professionals, has lead to the creation and development of SiliconFrench and L'Executive Club.

Ale Gicqueau holds an engineering degree from École centrale Paris and a master of science from UC Davis.

Angelika Blendstrup

Angelika is a business communications consultant who helps foreign-born executives with problems understanding the complexities of American business culture and the English language to communicate effectively.

In particular, she helps them improve their written and oral communication skills, and prepares them for media interviews and works on reducing their accents. Her clients include Fujitsu, A&D, DreamWorks/PDI, Tibco, Roche, and Sun MicroSystems. Angelika has traveled extensively throughout Europe and Latin America and speaks Spanish and Portuguese, as well as French and German.

Angelika Blendstrup holds a PhD in bilingual, bicultural education from Stanford University, a masters in comparative literature from UC Berkeley and a BA in foreign languages and educational psychology from the University of Tübingen, Germany.

Catherine Lucas

"Catherine Lucas is a seasoned executive with 24 years of experience in the biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry. She has a PhD in Neurochemistry form the University of Sciences in Paris, and a Post-Doc from Stanford University.

She started her industrial career at Genentech, where she worked for 8 years as a scientist in immunochemistry. She then worked at Cell Genesys as a Director for 2 years, prior to the formation of Abgenix based on the Xenomouse that makes fully human antibodies.

Since 1995, Catherine has been working at ALZA Corporation in drug delivery, first as a Director in Analytical Sciences, then as a Vice President in R&D. ALZA was acquired in 2001 by Johnson & Johnson, and under this new umbrella Catherine heads a large group performing novel research and development projects for the company."

Eric Buatois

Prior to joining Sofinnova Ventures in 2001 to focus on the telecommunications sector, Eric had 18 years of experience in the communications industry.

He had a 14-year tenure with Hewlett-Packard, where he had business management, profit and loss, and global strategic responsibilities through leadership roles based in Europe and the United States. He joined H-P's French operations in 1987 to lead product strategy for the company's Telecom Systems business unit, which encompassed global divisions. In 1994, Eric relocated to Sweden, where he served as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Ericsson Hewlett-Packard Telecommunication AB, a $200 million global joint venture specializing in network management systems and billing systems for service providers. He also served on the Board of EHPT. In 1998, Eric moved to H-P's U.S. headquarters, where he became General Manager of H-P's $340 million Communication Solution business unit.

He began his career with Texas Instruments in 1983, rising to European Product Manager for the Digital Signal Processor line. Concentrating on DSP applied to wireless, Eric defined and guided the product line's introduction into the European market, and negotiated key OEM agreements with top European telecom equipment vendors. His efforts led to the successful Europe-wide deployment of TI's DSP line.

Eric received his M.S. in Computer Science and Communications Engineering from Ecole Nationale Superieure des Telecommunications (France).

Francois DUBRULLE

He started his career in large international corporations in the field of high technologies, mainly in the world of telecommunications and complex technologies resulting from space activities.

He then leans towards value creation in early-stage technological firms. He founds Quaestus Ventures in 2002, an investment firm in US listed tech companies before creating Open Vision Technology in 2004.

The customers of Open Vision Technology are prestigious, amongst the big players in Aerospace & defence business, but also small but promising start-up companies within the IT & software business.

François Dubrulle belongs to a professional network in technology management, Mentonet, operating between San Francisco and Paris. With Open Vision Technology, he is member of the IE-Club, a non-profit organization based in Paris and gathering influential key people from finance and technology entrepreneurship.

Francois Dubrulle is graduated engineer of French “Grande Ecole”, also holds an MSc and an MBA. Francois also teaches risks strategy and decision analysis. He is very active in several think-tanks making the promotion of progress by the economic development and free trade.

Francois Koutchouk

François Koutchouk is a technology leader in business planning and strategic expansion, responsible for building a portfolio of reports on mission-critical commercial system projects for Fortune 500, companies, including high visibility projects such as the Citibank worldwide home banking system and the IBM intellectual property system.

With a technical and business background in networked artificial intelligence and robotics, he joined Lotus as one of the first six Lotus Notes engineers from 1989 to 1994.

Following his tenure at Lotus, François Koutchouk worked for Steve Jobs on object-based groupware technology and founded Atlantic Decisions, Inc.

Ghazi Benothman

Ghazi began his career in the early '90s at Motorola, working in marketing and business development in the RISC microprocessor division. During that time, he worked with emerging new companies in the MacOS and Windows NT spaces.

Ghazi then joined Dell Computer where he worked on market strategy for servers, workstations and storage in the office of the CTO. Ghazi then joined Deutsche Banc Alex Brown as a junior Equity Research analyst, covering stocks of systems, storage and Linux companies.

He participated in the IPOs of McData, VA Linux and other emerging technology companies. Most recently, Ghazi was with Crosslink Capital, the old private equity arm of Robertson Stephens. There, he spent the last four years working as part of the core technologies team, making new investments in Semiconductors and Hardware Systems.

Hubert Catanese

Hubert Catanese, is a seasoned executive bringing more than 19 years of international experience in Sales and Marketing. Before joining Meiosys, Hubert was VP of Worldwide Sales and Business Development for WhitePJ, Inc. a Silicon Valley startup providing CRM solutions on the ASP model, where Hubert was instrumental in defining and executing the business strategy, building a worldwide sales force and driving revenue.


Prior to White PJ, Hubert spent 15 years at Sun Microsystems where he held several sales and marketing positions including Director of Sales and Marketing at Sun Microsystems France and Senior Director Marketing and Business Development at Sun’s Corporate Headquarters. Hubert holds a MS in Electronics from the ESME Engineering School in Paris. Hubert resides in Palo Alto, CA.

Jean Pommier

Jean Pommier heads ILOG's worldwide professional services organization. He brings 15 years of industry experience to the position.


Pommier joined ILOG to work on its first generation of rule-based systems, moving quickly into customer-facing roles in consulting, and then into management. Prior to his current position, Pommier led consulting and operations for ILOG's largest division, the Industry Solutions Division. There, he was responsible for overseeing ILOG services for the financial services, transportation and e-government markets.


During his ILOG career, Pommier has led several important initiatives, including the company's technical account management, customer education and quality assurance programs. He established ILOG's services organization, creating new practice areas for business rule management systems and resource optimization. Overall, Pommier has contributed to more than 400 successful customer implementations.


Prior to ILOG, Pommier was a database administrator for the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN), where he helped build and maintain one of the largest Oracle installations in Europe.


Pommier earned an engineering degree at Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts et Métiers in 1986, and a master's degree in computer science at University of Nice (CERICS) in 1987.

Khai-Minh Pham

A successful entrepreneur and technology innovator, Khai Minh provides the leadership and strategic vision for the company. He consulted with leading engineers, sociologists, marketers, data mining and privacy experts to develop Easyplanet's technology and business model. In 1995 he founded DataMind Corporation, a leading data mining company whose customers included Pepsico, Fidelity Investments, GE Appliance, Chase Aerospatiale and Air Liquide.


This company also partnered with companies including Oracle, Hewlett Packard, Arbor and Red Brick. He personally developed Unified Agent Technology which is the core technology for DataMind's products. Later renamed RightPoint, it was acquired in 1999 by E.piphany for $400M.


Khai Minh demonstrated during the venture his ability to successfully start and build an internet infrastructure company in short timeframe. Khai Minh holds an M.D. and a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence both from Pierre and Marie Curie University in Paris. He is the author of numerous scientific papers, has received international grants, in particular from DEC research labs, for his research work in Artificial Intelligence, and received an entrepreneur award from BP bank.

I bring long years of successful experience in the areas of Personal Coaching, Weight Loss, Financial Coaching, Time Management, Motivational Techniques and Behavioral Science.


I will share with you my multi-cultural experience as a mother of a little boy, and as a successful entrepreneur in Europe and in the Silicon Valley where I am an active board-member of stealth-mode Quanticore. As an active mom and as a great weight loss achiever (-100 lbs), I really know how tricky it can be to achieve a harmonious balance (no stressful juggling) between professional, financial, social, personal and family success.


Based on my successful experience of climbing the social ladder - and real mountains as well: Kilimanjaro, Mont-Blanc, (Mount Everest is in preparation) - I believe in daily or project-based interactive support.


Adept at the 15 Coaching Proficiencies and respectful of the International Association of Coaches' Code of Ethics, I provide a positive learning and empowering environment. My proven holistic coaching approach helps you unearth your invaluable assets and remove the barriers on your path to success.


I am also adept at Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Transactional Analysis, Positive Attitude Preaching, Work Place Ergonomics, the Power of Mantras, Feng Shui, health & fitness and general business management. When confronted with extremely challenging situations, I used and improved these tools myself. I will share the results with you.


I am the President of the Silicon Valley Coachville Chapter, a member of the Advisory Board of the Coachville Association (33,000 members around the world), and an active member of the International Association of Coaches (IAC), the Alumni Association of Hartford Business School, the National Mental Health Association, the Global Reiki Association, the Ryze Network, the South Asian Public Health Association and the E-Commerce Benchmarking Association. I use these networks of professionals to bring you the best of each specialty.


In addition to these associations, I stay current with the majority of publications regarding health, fitness and weight loss discoveries and transfer the compiled knowledge to you in a digestible fashion.


In my spare time, I am completing three books: "Fad Diets: how to resist them and still lose weight", "How to dramatically improve your Sales Closing Ability (SCA)" and "How to Become a Life/Weight Loss Coach in 30 days".


I am fluent in English, Spanish and French. After having lived in France, Greece, Portugal, and on the East Coast, I now live in sunny Silicon Valley where I am training to summit Mount Everest in 2006. We will take the colors of MyPrivateCoach to the top of the world!


Originally from the sunny island of Corsica, home of the Mediterranean diet, I now live with my family in sunny Silicon Valley, California.
