Business Objects' CEO, Bernard Liautaud,
to address the francophile community at SiliconFrench

SiliconFrench announces a new membership and mentoring program, and shares its achievements at its 10th event

Mountain View, CA- December 5, 2002-- SiliconFrench, the networking organization for French-speaking and Francophile professionals in the Bay Area, announces today that it will host a special 10th event on December 10, 2002 at 6.00pm in Mountain View. The event will feature special guest speaker Bernard Liautaud, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Business Objects. (NASDAQ: BOBJ)

In addition, in response to SiliconFrench's community and affiliate organizations, SiliconFrench introduces its new Premium Membership Program. Among other benefits, membership will provide:
- Access to a mentoring program to help entrepreneurs fulfill their ventures
- On-line communication tools between members
- Discounts to SiliconFrench events.

As part of the InterFrench network, SiliconFrench was launched in March 2002 to bring French-speaking and Francophile professionals together to foster personal and professional development, and to facilitate new projects through the sharing of knowledge, information and contacts. SiliconFrench achieved several accomplishments over the past 10 months:
- Set up several professional workshops, with monthly overall attendance of over 150 people.
- Opening of three chapters in Los Angeles, New York, and Paris.
- Involvement of a network of 62 coordinators, who lead various interest groups like software and information technologies, biotech, telecom, financial services, French business schools, job search support, etc.
