Khai Minh Pham is a multi-cultural entrepreneur (born in Vietnam, grew up in France, and now US citizen). He has a Medical Doctor degree and a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence, which, mixed together, allowed him to come up with a unified technology of symbolic and neural networks systems. From this research, he creates his first company, called DataMind, renamed as RightPoint, a pioneer company in the data mining field. The company was acquired by Epiphany in 1999 for $400 Millions. The technology is still used today by companies such as American Express for frauds detection. His core research was also used by Sigma Dynamics acquired by Oracle last year for its real-time analytics capability.
Easyplanet is his second venture, focusing on delivering a unique online environment for Internet users, called Immersive Browser. The consumers can stay fully connected with their passions/interests while they are surfing the Internet. A successful beta version was launched with 300,000 downloads.
